FOH / Assistant manager
£14-£15/hour ~35 hrs/week


Naifs restaurant is a passion project started by a family team back in 2019. Since then we have grown into one of the most highly regarded plant-based restaurants in London. Retaining for four years our place amongst only two fully vegan restaurants in London to be featured in the michelin guide. 


Our focus has always been on the quality of the ingredients we use, the food and drink that we serve and the environment we create for our guests. We believe in the transportative experience of an amazing meal out and we love providing the level of care and thought needed to achieves this.


We now have a really exciting opportunity for someone to become part of our, small but mighty, team and help us take naifs to the next level. As owners we are striving to create the kind of business we want to see in this industry, one that puts well-being at the forefront of what it does. We are looking for a committed individual who shares our values and wants to help us build naifs to reach its full potential.


In this role you would be working closely alongside GM and co-owner Anne supporting the day to day running of the restaurant and helping to make the changes and improvements needed to push the business forward. This is an active role which includes running the floor during service.


The job includes:


communicating via email and phone to customers, 


Liaising with kitchen, editing and printing menus


Ensuring everything is set up for service. 


Being responsible for FOH stock levels and assisting with orders.


Running service meetings and service. 


Working alongside the owners on vision and improvements, helping to turn ideas into reality. 


Assisting with marketing and promotion of the restaurant.


We are looking for an energetic, organised individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to be self-directed when needed. You will be working in a small, committed team where you can bring your unique personality and strengths to the role and make a real contribution to the business. 


Naifs has always been a DIY project, so we are looking for a team player, who is happy to help out where needed and who can communicate with colleagues and guests in a kind, open and clear manner.


The style of naifs is warm and personable so customer service skills are a must, as is a strong interest to work with amazing produce, wine and food.


We would love you to have experience in, or a passion for, the hospitality sector and take genuine enjoyment in hosting guests and giving them the best possible experience..


This position could suit someone who has experience in a similar role and would be excited to take charge of the restaurant, bringing their expertise to help improve and grow what we have.


Or equally someone with less experience, who is a great problem solver, able to take the lead on finding the best way of doing things and wants to learn and grow into the role. 


This is a new position at naifs so there is the opportunity to really make it your own.
